IN THE BEGINNING...

In 1994 the original Big Bang Festival changed forever how Irish people think about rhythm. The festival introduced drummers, youth workers and music lovers to traditional forms of collective music making.
Since 2007, the revived Big Bang Festival has annually reconnected rhythm makers in Ireland with the best practice and practitioners worldwide and provided artists and communities with new and fresh approaches to rhythm.
